This Privacy Policy explains how The Try collects, uses, and protects information when you use our virtual try-on widget or platform.

1. Customer Photos

When a shopper uploads a photo to try on a product, that photo is sent to a third-party AI image-processing provider solely to generate the try-on preview. It is not used to train or improve any AI model, and the resulting image is automatically deleted from that provider's systems within an hour.

2. Information We Collect From Brands

We collect account information (business name, contact email, payment details) needed to operate your account, and usage data (try-on events, order attribution data) needed to calculate commission.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate The Try:

• A third-party AI image-processing provider — generates try-on preview images
• Razorpay — processes payments and billing
• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication

These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function.

4. Data Retention

Customer photos and generated try-on images are deleted within an hour of processing. Order and commission records are retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

5. Compliance

We aim to handle data in line with applicable Indian data protection law, as well as GDPR and CCPA principles where relevant to our users.

6. Your Rights

Brands may request a copy of their account data, or request deletion of their account, by contacting us.
